There are various sizes and shapes of insecurity, such as: Some men think they are too old. Some men think they are too fat. Some men think they are too short. Some think they’re too ugly.

I want to take a moment and dispel a few attraction myths that hold men back from achieving success in their love life.

Myth #1 – You must be good looking to attract girls.

Take a good look around and take not of the different types of men who date attractive women, and you can see this is not true. Simply put, it is essential to look good regardless of your physical attractiveness. Is there a difference?

The difference is, you may not escape your looks, but you do control your presentation of what looks you do have by the way you groom and wear your hair as well as how you smell and the clothes you wear, and so forth. Taking control of your appearance makes any man more attractive.

Myth #2 – Women Think Just As Men Do

Naturally, we all think that everyone sees things in the same way you see those things.

So naturally, you assume women are going to size you up the same exact way.

Incorrect.

Since we see our flaws, we naturally presume that others do too, when in fact the majority of people do not pay attention. Unless that is, they look especially for some characteristic to hold against you. Most fret over their own insecurities whatever they may be, without noticing yours.

A lot of guys try and dismiss their insecurities by calling attention to it, as if to try and “diffuse” whatever it is they feel is ugly about them. But all this does is draw the woman’s attention to this insecurity, and only at that point do people notice it.

Besides, insecurity is very unattractive. Think about it. In order for your positive qualities to outshine those that you find negative, you must always face every situation with a focus on your good qualities rather than any insecurity.

Myth #4 – Attractive Men Have It Easy

Those men have their own set of problems with women. Clearly in the beginning being attractive physically does help, however they have the same issues as the rest of us.

Attraction is the art of magnifying the emotional connection that a woman feels for you, when you are around, this connection will only occur when you are around her, therefore to feel those feelings she will want you to be around her.

The first step is to discuss his cheating with him. You’ve got to find out the real reason underlying his betrayal, which is why, no matter how hard it is to talk about, you’ve got to do it. The healing will come faster, though, if you can look forward and do your best to let go of the past.

Few things approach the pain of infidelity. For the sake of your relationship, I hope that the steps here will help you overcome yours. No matter how hard we try, we all make mistakes. More important, though, is learning and growing from the bad experiences we go through.

Just as surely other peoples’ actions have the power to affect us for good or for bad, so too do our actions have the power to affect them. It is part of the interconnected nature of all things in this world of ours. Dropping a pebble into the Atlantic Ocean can eventually cause a tsunami to form in the Pacific.

A good example is the boss who yells at his employee. The employee goes home and yells at his wife, the wife yells at the child, and then the child kicks the dog. The dog has no clue as to why someone that he gave only love to has kicked it, and goes and hides under the furniture. The mother finds the dog, and becomes angry with the child for kicking it. The whole cycle then escalates and repeats itself, with everyone becoming wounded in some way or another.

When Saint James said that the tongue is “only a tiny part of the body, but it can proudly claim that it does great things”, he did not intend the comment favorably. If words have the power to hurt others, then we should make it a practice to think before we speak. Before we say anything we should ask ourselves if we would want to be on the receiving end of the tongue-lashing that we are about to give to someone else.

Lies, no matter how small, or what ‘color’ they are, have the power to destroy even what we believe to be solid. They are like weeds that push up through concrete sidewalks, and tree roots that crack the foundations of our houses. Damaged trust can bring the whole structure crashing down on our heads. Once it is gone, it is hard to win it back.

In certain parts of India there is a saying that goes something like this: If you rip a piece of cloth that is whole, you can repair it, or even can make it into something entirely different, but you can never make it completely whole again.

People should stop and take the time to ask themselves how is it that they want to be remembered, when their days on this planet of ours are over. Is it better to be remembered as someone whose words did damage and caused pain? Or is it better to be remembered as someone who spoke honestly, and always chose their words with care?

What we bring into our relationships is what we get out of them. If we bring negativity, we get negativity. How we act towards others affects the quality of their lives. That we may be the cause of other peoples’ suffering is something that should concern us. Just because you did not know the person you dumped coffee all over in the coffee-shop, was it right for you to not even apologize? During those two seconds that it took to happen, you had a min-relationship. So how is it that you can claim that it’s all right to walk on by, because they are a stranger to you? By not making your bad day into anyone else’s, you turn your small corner of the world into far, far better place.

1. Worrying About The Results – Do you want a guaranteed way to creep women out? Just decide you have to under any circumstance get a woman. No matter what you say or do around this woman, you will be seen as creepy and scary. This is because you will be stressed out and tense. The exact opposite of creepy is “charming and attractive”. The way to get this is to complete shut off any goal when talking to women. Your only goal is to just be there, talk to her, see what she’s like. You don’t care if you get a woman or not. You are just being a social guy and having fun.

2. Act-as If – This is one of my favorite techniques. It makes women feel at ease, and makes it a lot easier for you to get women. Just put yourself in the role of a friend or an acquaintance. What I mean by this is that when you see a woman, you walk up to her as-if you’ve known her for years. Not as a guy who’s looking to pick her up, but as a guy who she went to high school with or a neighbor from her old neighborhood. I mean just have that attitude and talk and act as if you’ve known her for years. Literally convince yourself you’re just saying hi to an old friend, or having a chat with a good old friend. What will happen here is that she’ll relax and feel at ease, and so will you. This makes getting women a lot easier.

3. Its Just For Practice – Another mindset I like is looking at every woman as just a practice session. You’re not hung up on whether you get this one woman or not, because you’re just practicing pick up for sometimes later in life. Convince yourself that for now, you’ve just commit to mastering the process and skill of meeting, talking to and befriending women. You’re just trying to learn how to do it, and for now the results don’t matter. If you end up getting this woman, that’s just a welcome bonus, and you don’t mind, but overall, your goal is just getting the skill.

You can do all three (which I recommend) or just one or two, but overall if you apply these tricks you will find that getting women becomes much easier, less of hassle or effort, and it seems so easy and effortless. So go out there and make me proud my man!

Thus far, I have shared this story only with a few close friends.

To be completely honest

I feel almost bashful sharing it with you.

Yet this story is so important to your development that I’m willing to swallow my pride a bit.

When I was fifteen I went to high school with a guy who claimed he was dating a teen model.

Not being the coolest cat in the litter box, he went out of his way to prove to everyone that he was “actually dating her”: he cut out pictures in magazines of her, and even made up stories about the two of them making monkey love.

Everyone mercilessly teased him, seeing through his transparent lies.

In a sad attempt at regaining the smattering of respect people had for him, he promised everyone that she would attend his birthday party.

I ended up going to his party just to prove to myself that this girl was a figment of his imagination.

Long story short, she was real and even more stunning in person. Her cold-as-ice personality sat behind an angelic face draped with blond locks and decorated with piercing green eyes. A skinny cigarette nestled between two of her long fingers. I was in love.

Birthday boy, however, was not “actually” dating her. In fact, she wanted nothing to do with him.

I ended up sleeping with her – that was the good news.

There was, however, a catch: She had a boyfriend.

She let me know that although she enjoyed fooling around with me, she would never break up with her boyfriend for me. This fret a wound deep within my heart.

Then she poured verbal rubbing alcohol on my open wound by telling me that I did not fit the quota for her “ideal man”.

Then she carped, “You don’t act romantic, buy me gifts, or listen to my problems. I refuse to be with a guy who doesn’t do these things.”

The feeling was worse than having your nether regions stretched like a foot of flesh colored taffy.

Did I run as fast as I could from this little ice princess?

No – instead, like a trained seal, I attempted to live up to her “be my little lapdog” standards.

Did I end up winning her heart?

Nope.

When I reached the brink of her high standards, she raised the bar.

Guess what?

I felt even more attracted to her and tried even harder.

The harder I tried, the less attraction she felt for me.

Don’t do what I did unless your sexual preference rhymes with May. Or you’re a masochist.

He basically told me “You know, I get this whole thing about confidence, is that really why women don’t like nice guys?”

What I told him is that yes, this is absolutely true.

If you ask me, I think niceness has nothing to do with nice-guys failing with women. All nice guys I’ve met lacked confidence. I’ve yet to meet a nice guy who’s also confident, secure charming and charismatic. There’s a few women shyness creates failure with women.

1) Women don’t realize you can be shy too…

Are there women who genuinely dislike shyness in men? Sure, there are women like that. But with most women, its not the shyness they mind. What they mind is how a guy acts when he is shy.

When you actually act shy around a woman, she doesn’t know it. If you’re too shy to call a woman, she thinks you’re rejecting her. If she’s flirting with her, and you don’t know how to flirt back, she thinks you’re arrogant.

2) Nice guys make the natural order of mating fail

We have a natural mating ritual just like other animals. This ritual has some principles and concepts and rules for each of the two parties.

Women don’t hate shy guys or nice guys, they hate when the ritual or romantic process is ruined by what seems to them like weird behavior. One of these weird behaviors is not displaying interest or escalating the process forward (what women expect men to do).

Women actually get offended when a man doesn’t display interest, or does it the wrong way. She sees it as the guy being a jerk. She doesn’t know its insecurity or shyness.

You see, the very first thing you have to realize about lines is how little they matter. When you approach a girl in the real world, she decides how to respond based on factors mostly other than the line used. Its based on how you approached, your attitude, your smile, the location you approached her, her mood… And especially if she did or didn’t show signs she wanted to be approached or not. The actual truth is that if all these actor factors are right, you can use any line, and still get a great response from a girl. In fact, just walking up and saying “Hi, how ya all doin” will work great.

So what is the right place and time to use a cute pick up line? My answer is “when it feels natural”. You see, girls give out “approach me” signals all the time. You just have to open your eyes for them. If a girl keeps hovering around you, and always being near you, she’s open to use a cute line on her. If a girl always seems to be glancing your way, she’s open game too. Another obvious example is, if a girl just happens to be in your natural vicinity, like she’s sitting at the table next to you at the coffee shop. Or she is next in line at the store, or looking at the same shelf in the supermarket.

The really obvious examples I really like is when a girl always, always seems to find ways to be end up near you. Like that girl in the supermarket, who always seems to be looking at the same aisle that you are. Or that girl walking her dog, who always seems to walk your dog right next to you. All these situations are suitable to using a cute pick up line, so here are some lines for you to try…

1.) Yes, I’m single, thanks for asking (holding a cheesy grin)

2.) So… Is this normal for you? (she asks what) Well, getting approached by cute, handsome guys.

3.) I’ve seen you around campus many times, and I find you attractive, so I thought I’d come over and introduce myself.

4.) Today is the day you become famous. (why?) Because I’ll tell all my Facebook friends about meeting the girl with the cute smile in the afternoon (or whatever time it is).

The most important thing I want you to get out of this text is that I’m just giving you examples. These are just examples of what an approach could end up looking. Do not memorize one of these lines word-for-word, go out, and just recite it to the first girl you see. Remember that it has feel natural. You want to say something “like this” when the right situation arises and it feels just right.
